Southern Star Dog Training is not your typical run-of-the-mill dog training facility. Most other facilities provide cookie cutter programs and limited knowledge for the clients which inevitably results in a misunderstood and misdiagnosed dog.

Here at Southern Star Dog Training, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with the knowledge that you need to harmoniously coexist with your dog. Our first step is understanding why the dog behaves in a certain way. Once we have the "why," we can work on the "what" and the "how." We respect dogs for the animals they are and treat them as such. This results in a dog whose nature, genetic history, and desires are understood and appreciated. Dogs reciprocate that appreciation and respect and it builds a lasting bond and relationship.
